Monster Mayhem Coast to Coast

Hey Kids,
I'm back in NYC once again and this last week has been awesome. I've been out in Long Beach, Cali getting dirty and greasy in the Monster Garage. Sunday night I got in to LAX picked up my rental car and redlined it out of the airport down to Long Beach before heading to Hollywood for a party with Stardust at the Gemini Manor - this wild art house with a moon deck that slants in different direcions and turrets that stick out of the roof like little rooms just big enough for you head to feel like Gulliver looking down into the party deep down below inside the house. At sunrise I drove back down to Long Beach - picked up the rest of the builders at the hotel and headed out to Day One at Monster Garage. We waited forever - TV style - in the Long Beach Auto Museum which consists of all the previous Monster Builds - like GraveDigger the hearse that has a backhoe on the back and the low rider El Camino with a mechanical Bull in the back - only the bull doesn't move - the whole car bounces. It was awesome - then we got called in to the garage and met our project - a 30 foot Fleetwood RV to be gutted and turned into a funhouse on wheels. I grabbed an 8 pound hammer and went to work - smashing cabinets and throwing everything out the back window. The next day was spent waiting for parts to arrive and doing very little but watching the clock tick by. The garage is equipped great for building hot rods - but not so well for carpentry and carnival effects building - so we built the whole thing totally carnie style - without the right tools or materials, outdoors in the yard (the RV wouldn't fit in the garage) and in the rain - not to mention under redicioulous time constraints. By Friday - none of us were sure we'd have it finished by midnight -
Right after we wrapped - we went out for a couple of drinks - the whole crew - and Danyella who came down and did her electric act for the show - then I went to the airport and flew to Boston where the Loaded Dice Black Caddilac picked me up and took me to the Whittemore Arena in Durham, NH for Motor Psycho Madness. I walked in to see Lucky Devil already on stage. I changed up backstage and came out just in time to close the show with my fire act.
That night we took on the whole town - well three out of the four bars - and ended up at a Frat house. From one end of the world to another - backstage with GWAR in Hollywood one day and out of beer at a frat-house at UNH the next - what could be better?
